INSURANCE​

​Most insurance companies in Massachusetts fully or partially reimburse for Lactation Consults or Prenatal Classes.  I am out-of-network provider for most insurance companies and will provide you with a Lactation Visit Receipt and instructions on how to submit it to your insurance company. Payment in full is required at the time of visit.  Below you will find payment options and the current payment status of specific companies based on feedback from past clients.  I am always gathering data to add to this resource.

FSA/HSA debit cards accepted.
Cash, check, credit card, and Venmo payments are accepted.

AllWays/Mass General Bringham: Full to partial reimbursement
​Aetna:  Full Reimbursement
Blue Cross Blue Shield: Full reimbursement
Cigna: Full to Partial reimbursement
​Health New England: will reimburse - amount will vary based on your individual plan.
Mass Health: NO reimbursement.  Inquire about sliding scale if necessary.
Tufts: ​Full to partial reimbursement
Unicare/GIC: Full reimbursement

Your insurance company will cover the cost of an electric manual breast pump.
